This colourful Air Max 90 was designed in 2015 as part of Nike's long-running partnership with Doernbecher Children's Hospital that gives young patients the opportunity to bring their design ideas to life on limited-edition releases of existing Nike silhouettes. This pair was designed by 10 year old Emory Maughan who, despite suffering from stage four kidney failure, wanted to spread a message of hope and positivity symbolised by her use of mythical creatures on the shoe's tongue tabs, and the inscription of the words "I'M POSSIBLE" on the insoles.
